Initiée dès l’adolescence au cinéma d’auteur, la révélation de sa passion pour l’image et la lumière lui vint des films de John Cassavetes.
Au cours des 30 dernières années, Nathalie Moliavko-Visotzky a mis sa passion au service de nombreux réalisateurs et réalisatrices.
Elle a collaboré à la production de courts et longs métrages, de documentaires à titre d’assistante à la caméra, cadreur, puis directrice de la photographie.
Elle a travaillé avec Denys Arcand, Jean-Claude Lauzon, Marc-André Forcier, François Girard, Louis Bélanger et Nathalie Saint Pierre qui a gagné le Valois d’Or au Festival d’Angoulême en 2012 pour « Catimini ».
Elle a également collaboré aux films de réalisateurs étrangers tels David Mamet, Robert Altman, Roger Spottiswood, Stephan Elliott, Claude Miller.
Elle a signé les images de films sur l’art et la vie d’artistes de renommée internationale dont le chorégraphe Jean-Pierre Perreault, les peintres Alfred Pellan et Jean-Paul Riopelle, et l’architecte Phyllis Lambert.
Le documentaire qu’elle a filmé « Dans un océan d’images… » de Helen Doyle a gagné le prix du meilleur film canadien au 31ième Festival International du Film sur l’Art et lui a valu le Gémeaux pour la meilleure direction-photo en documentaire en 2014.

Nathalie Moliavko-Visotzky was drawn to the art of filmmaking in her teenage years,
fuelling her passion for image and light with the films of John Cassavetes.
Over the past 30 years, Nathalie Moliavko-Visotzky has been serving
the specific visions of many directors.
She has collaborated in the production of short and feature-length films,
as well as documentaries as an assistant cameraman, camera operator,
and director of photography.
She has worked with Denys Arcand, Jean-Claude Lauzon, Marc-André Forcier,
François Girard, Louis Bélanger and also with Nathalie Saint Pierre who won

She has crafted the images of films on the art and life of artists of international fame
such as the choreographer Jean-Pierre Perreault, painters Alfred Pellan and Jean-Paul Riopelle,
and the architect Phyllis Lambert.
The documentary for which she was the cinematographer "Frameworks", directed by Helen Doyle, has won the prize for the best Canadian film at the 31st International Festival of Films on Art and for which she was awarded the Gémeaux for Best Cinematography.
